I am so excited to introduce Shiree Best to you! Welcome Shiree, please tell us a little about yourself!

Hi, I'm Shiree Best. I'm a wife of nearly four decades, and the mother of seven amazing children. Like many families, mine has experienced the heartache of differing beliefs, which ultimately led me to create the Just Love Them podcast. Through my coaching practice, Living in Joy, and my podcast, I help parents and families navigate the pain and confusion that can come when loved ones choose a different religious path. My passion is helping people heal relationships, communicate with more love, and find peace even when they can't change someone else's choices.

I love learning and have spent years studying relationships, communication, and personal growth. I believe that when we shift our perspective, we can transform not only our relationships but our own lives. When I'm not recording podcasts or coaching clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and friends, playing pickleball, working in my yard, or enjoying the beauty of Utah. My greatest hope is that everyone who encounters my work leaves feeling a little more hopeful, a little more understood, and better equipped to love the people who matter most.

Shiree is an amazing example of what Anxiously Engaged Living looks like in action through podcasting. Here is how she is doing it!

Being anxiously engaged, for me, means creating meaningful podcast episodes, speaking to audiences, and coaching people one-on-one as they work to heal their relationships. Through my own experiences, I've learned that even the most painful relationships can begin to heal when we approach them with love, understanding, and hope. Helping others find that same healing gives my work deep purpose. One of the greatest rewards is hearing from listeners who tell me that something they learned from me—or from one of the incredible guests on the Just Love Them podcast—helped bring peace to their family or changed the way they see a loved one. Those messages remind me that every episode is worth the time, the effort, and the vulnerability it takes to create it. When the idea for the podcast first came to me, if I'm being honest, I wanted to crawl under the bed and hide. Putting my voice—and the voices of others—out into the world felt intimidating. But I'm so grateful I chose courage over fear. Looking back, I can't imagine what would have been lost if I had let fear make that decision for me. If you feel prompted to do something that could bless the lives of others, don't let fear stop you. Take the leap. Someone is waiting for the unique gifts, experiences, and perspective that only you can offer. The world doesn't need another copy of someone else—it needs you.
